💛 THE LYRICAL LANDSCAPE - 6 Week Workshop (Nov & Dec 2024)
Learn how to translate your emotional landscape into captivating lyrics with clarity, precision, and power. Discover the untold stories, themes, and desires of your life worth writing about. Leave the workshop feeling confident in every single word of your new work. This class will blend essential craft technique with the magical and intuitive aspects of discovering and expressing your truest voice. This class will be part lecture and part guided writing time, so you will leave with a bounty of fresh lyrical material each week. Poets and songwriters of all levels are invited. 💛 WRITING YOUR RECORD - 12 Week Workshop * Jan - March 2024
Whether you’ve written fifty songs or just one, the challenge of creating a cohesive body of work will push you to refine your sound and explore your creative depths. Find the songs that ONLY YOU can write. Learn the essential techniques to generate vibrant song ideas quickly, then refine and revise them until you are confident in every word, every chord, every melody. Songs bloom faster & more fully when they’re witnessed in a kind, loving community. I’m partial, but I do believe this community space is the most supportive, warmest, glow-iest corner of the internet.
The 12-week timeframe will invite you to laser-focus your musical energy, eliminate distractions, and access the deepest wells of creativity within you.
